What is TON?
TON (The Open Network) is a decentralized Layer 1 blockchain project built by the Telegram messenger platform in 2018. It was later rebranded as 'The Open Network, TON' by the TON Foundation. TON aims to host all applications on a fast, secure, and scalable blockchain and network project.
What is IdeaTON? IdeaTON is an event similar to a hackathon but with a slightly different focus. While hackathons primarily focus on coding and developing functional prototypes or projects within a short period, Ideathons prioritize generating and developing innovative ideas.
