## **About the Contest**
TON Smart Challenge #5 unites with [Codeforces](https://codeforces.com/) to offer a great set of tasks that showcase the fundamental aspects of how smart contracts function in TON. Participants will have the opportunity to master their skills in real life programming cases, unleash interesting details of TVM work and perform complex tuples manipulations.

**Join the contest and master complex cell manipulations, smart contract storage organization, comment handling, basic cryptography, and the logic of governance smart contracts through problem-solving.**

### **Registration, Submission, and Duration**
Registrations are now open. The tasks will go live on December 21, and the submission deadline is December 30 at 23:59:59 (UTC+4).

To enter the challenge, register by clicking 'Join the contest'. The Telegram bot will assist you throughout the registration process and send you notifications with the latest updates, such as the start of the contest or the tasks. The bot will also guide you on submitting your entry as a legitimate participant.

**All entries must be submitted via GitHub, and your account must be at least a month old.**

### **Scoring System & Prize Distribution**
Winners of the contest will receive prizes denominated in Toncoin, the native cryptocurrency of the TON Blockchain, which is also used as a resource for contract execution.

**The scoring system is simple. For each solved problem, the participant can earn a maximum of 6 points:**
- Successful solution of the problem = 5 points
- Gas efficiency of the solution = 0 to 1 extra point

### **Prizes**
The pool of $20,000 TON will be split equally between the top 100 participants of the leaderboard after plagiarising participants are removed. Every participant on the leaderboard will receive a participation soulbound token (SBT).

**Prize pool distribution:**
- $7,000 in TON - The top 15% of eligible participants
- $7,000 in TON - The middle 30% of eligible participants
- $6,000 in TON - The bottom 55% of eligible participants

We are thrilled to announce the inaugural TON Tact Challenge, an initiative crafted to inspire both seasoned developers and newcomers to delve into the capabilities of this emerging programming language.

This contest, brought to you by TON, is geared towards expanding the reach of the Tact language. Tact is a groundbreaking programming language purpose-built for the TON blockchain to simplify and enhance development. Featuring a static type system and a clean syntax, Tact becomes the optimal choice for crafting intelligent contracts on the TON platform.

## **Scoring and Prizes**

Winners of the contest will receive prizes denominated in Toncoin, the native cryptocurrency of the TON blockchain, which is also used as a resource for contract execution.

Each task can bring you a max of 6 points.
You get 5 points for solving a task. You get an extra point if you solve it without using any gas.

### **Prizes:**
- The top 15% of participants share $10,000 in TON
- The middle 30% of participants share $10,000 in TON
- The bottom 55% of participants share $10,000 in TON

Each prize pool is shared equally among the participants in that group. In total, we're giving away $30,000 in TON prizes.

## The goal of the contest
The Open Network has a lot of opportunities to build convenient services that allow users to do different actions directly within Telegram: storing, receiving, and sending TON and NFTs, making and collecting donations and many other things.

> The goal of the contests is to inspire more builders to develop Telegram Web Apps (TWA) related to TON, using tools, docs, and tutorials organized by [TWA Developers Community](https://github.com/twa-dev) and find new use cases.

## About the task
The task is to create a Telegram Web Application based on TON in one of 5 different tracks:

1. the name of the project
2. the link to the prototype
3. the link to the GitHub repository with description and code. You may keep the closed-source repo during the development. But after submitting, it must be open source.
4. the link to the presentation (video is optional)


The main goal is to make not only TWA connected to TON, but also that follows the criteria:

1. the idea of the Telegram Web App
2. functional prototype
3. open code repository
4. presentation

During the competition, we will encourage those participants who give feedback on the current TWA documentation via pull requests in [the main repository](https://github.com/twa-dev). The TWA community will evaluate all the PRs and decide to reward the best at the end of the competition.

Winners of the contest will get prizes nominated in TON — cryptocurrency native to the TON blockchain, which is also used as a resource for contract execution.

## About the contest
We’re excited to announce a new contest for all smart contract developers on TON titled TVM Challenge. This competition aims to explore and showcase the new features and opcode use cases introduced in the upcoming TVM update. As a smart contract developer, this contest allows you to delve into the latest advancements in TVM and discover new possibilities for creating innovative products on TON.

## How to apply

1. Project name
2. A short description of up to three sentences. If necessary, an additional explanation of why new TVM operations are needed
3. Link to GitHub or project web-page
4. TON address

## Prize Pool
We have allocated a total **prize pool of 30,000 Toncoin** (TON) for this contest. The prize money will be distributed among the participants who showcase the best utilization of the new TVM features. A panel of esteemed jury members will do the evaluations.

## Evaluation Criteria
The jury will evaluate each project submitted to the contest. The jury will use a combination of different criteria to score each project on a scale from 0 to 3. 

**The criteria include the following:**
- **Relevance:** The jury will assess how much the project addresses a genuine need for new TVM instructions in smart contracts.
- **Efficiency:** The jury will evaluate the optimization of the project and the use of gas, exploring ways to improve and optimize implementation.
- **The uniqueness of the idea:** The jury will consider the originality and novelty of the project, taking into account the possibility of applications that the committee may not have been aware of previously.
- **Technical difficulty:** The jury will assess the level of technical complexity involved in the project’s implementation.

**For each criterion, the jury will assign a score ranging from 0 to 3 based on the following scale:**

- 0 points: The solution does not satisfy the given criteria.
- 1 point: The solution barely satisfies the given criteria.
- 2 points: The solution fits the given criteria but requires improvements.
- 3 points: The solution fully meets the given criteria.

It is important to note that the score for technical difficulty carries a weight of 1.5, giving it additional significance in the evaluation process. The maximum score a project can achieve is calculated as 3 (assuming that each project is assessed by 3 judges) multiplied by the sum of the scores for the other criteria plus 1.5 times the score for technical difficulty, resulting in a maximum score of 40.5.

## About the contest
The goal of this competition is to update and improve The Open Network’s Wikipedia page in any language. Participants are required to use the information provided on the official [TON website (ton.org)](https://ton.org/en) and from all of the [@toncoin](https://t.me/toncoin) channels mentioned at [Community page](https://ton.org/community) and other independent proven resources to enrich the existing Wikipedia article with new data, updated information, any missing facts, and provide verified sources.

## Prize pool 
The total prize pool is **$5,000**. It will be distributed among the top contributors who make the most valuable and useful additions to The Open Network page. In case of an unexpectedly high level of participation, there is a possibility to expand the prize pool.

## Opportunity
The top contributors will be considered for potential jobs at TON Foundation. Candidate selection will be based on their contribution rating to updating the Wikipedia pages, as well as the submitted text for TON Wiki page.

## Competition duration
The competition will last for 2 weeks from May 20 to June 4. During this time, participants should write their edited TON articles and submit their contributions by June 4, 21:00 (UTC+4).

## How to participate
This challenge is open to contestants from all over the world. To participate, you need to register through the [@toncontests_bot](https://t.me/toncontests_bot), submit your Wiki username and send the link to the doc file with TON Wiki page description in any language.

## Evaluation
Participant contributions will be evaluated based on the quality and accuracy of information, use of credible sources, article structure and formatting.

## The goal of the contest
Your goal is to create updated versions of TON wallets. TON Wallet is an open-source non-custodial wallet and is an essential part of the TON blockchain ecosystem. Final implementations should include features listed below and should follow provided mockups as closely as possible. The winning implementation may replace the current versions of TON Wallet.

The competition is held for three different platforms: iOS, Android, and Desktop. Desktop applications should support three major platforms: macOS, Windows, and Linux.

## About the task
You should create TON Wallet application for the chosen platform using [provided mockups](https://github.com/ton-community/wallet-contest/blob/main/TON%20Wallet%20Contest.zip). Your application should support these main features:

1. Creation of a new wallet or importing an existing one using a recovery phrase
2. Secure wallet lock using a passcode or biometrics on supported platforms
3. Main screen with the user’s Toncoin balance and transactions
4. “Receive Toncoin” screen with QR code
5. Ability to send Toncoin directly by address, by scanning QR code or TON DNS
6. Support different [wallet versions](https://github.com/ton-community/wallet-contest#wallet-versions)

## The goal of the contest
The aim of the contest is to encourage TON ecosystem participants to share knowledge about TON, create unique and sharable content about TON available on Twitter.

> The TON Foundation team decided to inspire more people to create more useful threads about TON and share them on [@ton_blockchain](https://twitter.com/ton_blockchain) Twitter account.

## About the task
The task is to create threads related to the TON blockchain. The thread should follow several requirements:

1. the thread has to be in English and easy to read
2. the thread should contain either fact value, education or entertainment, or all of that
3. the thread should drive a conversation about building on TON, FunC, TVM and white paper overview, mass adoption, community, NFT, responsibility of building great apps message, decentralization, GameFi, SocialFi, DIDs and etc.
4. the thread has to include min 3 onwards tweets

You are free to make funny threads, add memes and stuff like that. Try to make it viral and get more engagement from the community.

## Prizes and honors
Winners of the contest will get prizes nominated in TON — cryptocurrency native to TON blockchain.
Among all the threads, the TON Foundation team will choose the top 10 matching the aforementioned criteria, and based on the subjective quality of the threads, will distribute the prize pool among the contestants from $250 up to $1000.

> Please, note, that our aim is 10 threads. However, the number of winning threads is not fixed and may be larger or smaller depending on the quality of the content.

## How to participate
First, register through the [@toncontests_bot ](https://twitter.com/ton_blockchain)to share your Twitter account and TON wallet address with us, so we may reward you in case you win.

Then send the link to your thread through the bot. You may submit not more than 10 threads in the contest.

> Contest for FunC developers with 50,000 TON total prize fund. The contest begins on 2 Dec. 12:00 UTC and lasts until 23 Dec. 18:00 UTC.

## The goal of the contest
In this contest, we continue the tradition and offer tasks that demonstrate the basic aspects of how [smart contracts work in TON](http://ton.org/dev?filterBy=developSmartContract). By solving problems, participants will be able to master the skills of complex manipulations with cells, organizing the storage of smart contracts, working with comments, basic cryptography and the logic of governance smart contracts.

At the same time, the competition is arranged in such a way that even FunC veterans will not have a special advantage and beginners will be able to compete with them.

## About the task
We are holding a contest aimed at optimization of 5 smart contracts written in the [FunC language](https://ton.org/docs) native for The Open Network blockchain. The goal of the contest is to optimize contract execution cost, preserving functionality and business logic.

## Prizes and honors
Winners of the contest will get prizes nominated in TON — cryptocurrency native the TON blockchain, which is also used as a resource for contract execution. There will be two set of prizes for two stages of contest:

1. for sprinters during the first week (until 9 Dec 18:00 UTC) of the contest, according to the formula: Prize = A*(B+1/N)exp(-x(B+1/N)), where A = 25 000, B = 0.01, N — number of participants.
2. for stayers — on the second and third week of TON Smart Challenge, according to the formula: Prize = A*(B+1/N)exp(-x(B+1/N)), the A = 25 000, B = 0.01, N = 100`
